pic 16F84 /c84 kod

jag vill programera en 16F84 men koden jag har är skriven för 16c84..
går det iallfall eller måste jag ändra något?
det står 16c84 nästan längst upp i koden.. ska det ändra till 16f84?

The PIC16F84 (68 file registers or ram bytes) is upwards compatible with PIC16C84 (36 reg), except for the polarity of the power-on timer enable bit, and code protection bits. Neither are very important for a hobby project. Using the appropriate header files (in whatever language you use) will usually take care of these differences, but in a pinch you can simply substitute a 16F84 for a 16C84, invert the power-on enable (if you care at all) and live with a less-than-perfect code protection (if you enabled this at all).

Med andra ord, ändra bara C'et till ett F i definitionen för processorn så fungerar det rakt av. i 999 fall av 1000.
