Electronics people and/or meetups in Skåne

Inlägg av Gerharddc »

Please excuse the English, my Swedish still needs a lot of work...

I have recently moved to Sweden, specifically Lund, to become the only (for now at least) "hardware guy" at a small software company. As all my friends who share a passion for electronics ( so all my friends basically ;) ) are now half way around the world, I would like to make some new ones closer to home. I am thus curious to find out if there are any meetups in the Skåne area for electronics people, or even individuals open to meeting up.

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome.

@waxfan, yes, thank you very much!

@Lasp, thanks I will look into that. I assume you are referring to https://lundsoppnaverkstad.se/, it looks interesting albeit more focused on other forms of “making” than electronics. I’ll definitively give it a try though. There is also https://www.lth.se/x-lab/, but it’s not really clear what it is about or if someone with no link to LTH has access.

The Student's Assosiation for Applied Electronics (ETF) at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University was founded in the spring of 1964. Since the start we have been focal point for those engineering students interested in realizing their ideas, complex as well as simple. ETF is a sort of "hackerspace" which provides the tools needed for an electronics project: everything from soldering equipment to spectrum analysers as well as fellow members and their knowledge and experience.

Interested in joining us? There are no requirements to become a member, and the membership costs 200 SEK/year, granting 24/7-access (using your LU-card) to our lab and workshop. Drop by our premises in the E-building, E:0522, LTH or send us an email.
